WHEN LONG KNIVES NAP

18.5wx20hxx11d Edition of 45

This Apache warrior stealthily rides away from the camp of the Long Knives (U.S. Cavalry) on a stolen horse...

The reputation of being elusive, wild and warlike followed the Apaches throughout their fierce reign across the Southwest plains. They caused terror among settlers and were known for their undaunted resistance to the U.S. Government.

On the right shoulder of the horse is the stamp of the U.S. Cavalry and in the Apache’s right hand is the Long Knife’s rifle. He rides quickly and quietly into the night while Long Knives nap.
