SURE YOU CAN SHOOT OFF 'EM

An old friend of mine hunting in Colorado asked the old wrangler that saddled his pony if he could shoot off the horse. "Sure ya kin shoot off em'" said the crusty fellow. My friend shot his deer right over the ponies head and reached the ground before he felt the recoil on his rifle. He told the old wrangler, "I thought you said I could shoot off him!" He kinda grinned and said, "Didn't say he'd like it". Which brings to mind what my grandpa used to say, "Don't believe nothing you hear and half of what you see!"
