Some say the great buffalo herds numbered up to 75 million on the Great American Plains. The natives and wolves prospered, until the white man began his great slaughter making the prairies ready for cattle.

Now the wolves had to be removed and the cowboys went at it with a vengence, untilonly a few old sages remained. This cagey old fellow ain't rushing down to lunch. He's prospecting the area, lunch will come later.
