THE PASSING OF A WAY OF LIFE. The Rug Maker would work days or weeks, sometimes late into the night to make a rug, then saddle up and rush it to the trading post, to trade for her necessities. High Winds often come unexpectedly in her beautiful high desert land, adding to her hardship.

Today the winds of change are blowing hard against the Dine’ (the people) molding them into a society little different from the rest of the world. The OLD WAYS will be missed.
