APACHE WINDS

19.5hx13wx11d Edition of 30

Might is right according to the Manifest Destiny. Some may have questioned who had the might, when the Anglos entered Apache Country. Particularly when dealing with the Chiricahuas, Cochise and Geronimo. It is said they fought like the wind. They would rise out of the dust, raid the enemy and vanish as the wind. A warrior could cover 70 miles ion a day on foot where no Anglos could last a day.
Finally it took 500 soldiers several years and many lies to subdue the so called Army of Geronimo's 20 warriors and 18 women and children. For no doubt whose sake, Geronimo finally surrendered thus ending the Apache Wars. Ken Payne
